- Select the "Deals" object to focus on sales metrics.
Step 5: Configure Your Data
- Under the "Data" section:
- Filter deals based on "Close Date" and set the range to the desired quarter.
- Select the metrics relevant to your report, like "Deal Amount," "Deal Stage," or "Associated Sales Rep."
Step 6: Choose the Visualization
- Depending on how you want to visualize your data, choose from the following:
- Bar chart
- Pie chart
- Summary
- Table
- Etc.
Step 7: Add Additional Filters (Optional)
- If you need more specific data, add filters such as:
- Deal source (e.g., email, web, referral)
- Associated team or sales rep
- Deal stage (e.g., prospecting, closed-won)
Step 8: Name and Save the Report
- Above the visualization, there's a field to name your report (e.g., "Q2 2023 Sales Metrics").
- Click the "Save" button.
Step 9: Review the Generated Report
- Once saved, the report will generate the data based on your specifications.
- Review the report to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.
Step 10: Customize Display Settings (Optional)
- Adjust colors, data labels, and any other visualization elements as necessary.
- Use the settings or gear icon, typically found at the top or side of the report.
Step 11: Add Report to Dashboard
- Click the "Add to Dashboard" button (usually represented as a dashboard icon).
- Choose which dashboard you'd like to add the report to, or create a new one.
Step 12: Export or Share the Report (Optional)
- If you need to share the report externally or want a physical copy:
- Click the "Actions" or "More" button (often represented as three dots).
- Choose "Export" or "Share" based on your needs.
