Step 1: Access the HubSpot Dashboard
- Log into your HubSpot account.
- From the main navigation, click on "Marketing" and then select "Website" from the dropdown. Choose "Landing Pages" or "Website Pages" based on where you want to add the interactive content.
Step 2: Choose a Template or Existing Page
- If you're starting from scratch, click "Create" and select a suitable template for your content.
- If you're adding to an existing page, locate the page from the list and click on its name to open the editor.
Step 3: Add a New Module
- In the page editor, locate the “Add” button or "+" icon on the left sidebar to add new modules.
- Search for the "Interactive Content" module and drag it to your desired location on the page.
Step 4: Configure the Interactive Content Module
- Once placed, click on the interactive content module to open its settings.
- Choose the type of interactive content you want. For this example, we'll select "Quiz."
Step 5: Set Up Your Quiz
- Enter the name of your quiz.
- Start adding questions by clicking on the "Add Question" button.
- For each question, provide possible answers.
- Designate which answer is correct (if it's a knowledge-based quiz).
- Configure feedback for each answer if desired.
Step 6: Customize Design and Behavior
- Adjust the design of your quiz to match your brand colors, fonts, and overall style.
- Determine the behavior after a user completes the quiz. For instance, you can:
- Display a custom message.
- Redirect them to another page or content offer.
- Collect their email address to send results or further content.
Step 7: Set Up Lead Capture (Optional)
- If you want to capture lead information:
- Turn on the lead capture option within the module settings.
- Customize the form fields, deciding what information you want to collect (e.g., Name, Email, Company).
- Set up a follow-up or thank you message after form submission.
Step 8: Preview and Test
- Before publishing, always preview your interactive content to ensure it displays correctly and functions as intended.
- Take the quiz yourself or have a colleague test it to ensure smooth user experience.
Step 9: Publish or Update the Page
- Once satisfied, click on the "Publish" or "Update" button at the top right corner to make your interactive content live.
Step 10: Analyze and Optimize
- Regularly check HubSpot analytics to see how users are interacting with your quiz.
- Based on the data, make necessary adjustments to improve engagement or lead capture rates. For example, you might want to tweak questions, design, or the lead capture form based on user behavior.
