Step 8: Set up Alerts
- To stay updated on competitor activities, set up alerts.
- Go back to the main competitors dashboard and click on “Settings” or the gear icon.
- Under “Alerts,” specify what changes or updates you want to be notified about concerning your competitors.
Step 9: Review Insights Regularly
- Regularly visit the Competitors tool to review any new insights and data updates.
- Adjust your marketing strategies accordingly based on the data you gather.
Step 10: Act on Insights
- Use the information you’ve gathered to inform and adjust your marketing strategies. For instance, if you see a competitor succeeding with a specific content topic or format, consider how you might incorporate similar strategies into your plan.
Step 11: Stay Updated with HubSpot's Learning Resources
- HubSpot often releases new features and tools. Stay updated by following their blog and attending their webinars.
- This ensures you are leveraging all available resources when tracking competitors.
Step 12: Re-evaluate Periodically
- Every few months, take the time to review and re-evaluate the competitors you're tracking.
- Remove competitors that are no longer relevant and add new emerging competitors as needed.
